Magic shows, egg hunts and petting farm round out Eggstravaganza

Friday, March 15, 2013

Spend time with the family at Eggstravaganza at Main Street Square on Sunday, March 31, from noon to 4 p.m.

Egg hunts will be held at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. for ages 0 to 10 years of age. The Easter bunny will make a visit to the Square for photo opportunities.

The Magic of Keith Raymond will be featured at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., with each show lasting 30 minutes.

A spring-themed petting farm will be onsite with local animals, including sheep, chicks, bunnies and more.

Children can get their faces painted by the Miss Rapid City Scholarship Foundation, at no charge, and balloon artists will be creating animals and characters for a minimal fee.

"Visit Main Street Square where families can hunt for eggs, experience farm animals and just have fun spending time together," said Megan Karbowski, executive director of Main Street Square. "Keith Raymond will provide entertainment, and he may even pull a rabbit out of his hat!"

Eggstravaganza is sponsored by Family Thrift Center and Prairie Market. Staff will be on site handing out candy and inviting children to paint sugar cookies.
