RAPID CITY, S.D. – Vote Yes Rapid City will kick off campaign activities on April 20, 2018 at Main Street Square in Rapid City.

“We are delighted by the support we’ve seen from across the community,” said Tim Raben, Treasurer of the Vote Yes Rapid City campaign. “This is the right plan at the right time for our community and we’re really looking forward to the election.”

The Vote Yes Rapid City campaign is hosting the first of several events in support of building a new arena at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The first event will be hosted at Main Street Square on April 20, 2018 at 3 p.m. with the support of Destination Rapid City. Everyone is encouraged to attend for an opportunity to learn more about the new arena project, pick up yard signs, register to vote, and vote.

April 20 marks the first day of early and absentee voting. At 3:30 p.m. Vote Yes Rapid City will walk to the courthouse with attendees to participate in early voting. Attendees can also register to vote during this event if they are not already registered.

“We are excited to get this campaign underway and look forward to hosting more events like this one in the coming weeks,” said Raben.
