Main Street Square’s Fourth Annual Art & Wine Festival set for June 13

RAPID CITY, SD – Tickets are now on sale for wine tasting at the fourth annual Art & Wine Festival at Main Street Square on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by Neugebauer’s Fine Jewelry and is free to enter.

There are three options for wine tasting packages: Ultimate Tasting Experience, an unlimited tasting package that includes a wine glass for $40, or $35 on pre-sale; 13-sample Taste-as-you-go Experience that includes 13 tickets and a wine glass for $25; and 5-sample Taste-as-you-go Experience that includes 5 tickets and a wine glass for $10. Each ticket is good for one sample. Additional tickets will be available for sale at the event, and additional souvenir glasses may be purchased. All wines offered at the tasting will be available for off-sale purchase at a special Art & Wine Festival price. Tickets are on sale now at or by calling 605-716-7979.

New this year, the art portion of the event will feature a makers market where event attendees will have the opportunity to purchase art and vintage items from 40+ vendors while sampling South Dakota, national and international wines.

“We are excited to incorporate a broad selection of art with a variety of local wines for tasting,” said Megan Whitman, executive director of Main Street Square. “From handmade treasures to vintage finds, the Main Street Square Art & Wine Festival will be fun for the entire family.”

The Art & Wine Festival will feature live performances from harpist Maria Bunkers; the St. Thomas Moore Jazz Band; acoustic folk and Americana artist Lang Termes; Black Hills Cloggers in Motion; indie acoustic band The Copoetics; Native American Pow Wow by Lakota Ways; and Landslide, an acoustic Americana/classic rock band. There will also be interactive arts and crafts for children.

The event is free and open to all ages, however, only those 21 years of age and older may purchase adult beverages. Main Street Square promotes drinking responsibly.
