Art Night Downtown continues with new surprises

Wednesday, July 9, 2014

RAPID CITY, SD – Art Night Downtown continues this Friday, July 11, 5 to 8 p.m., in Downtown Rapid City. Art Night Downtown is held every second Friday night this summer, through September, and brings businesses and artists together to create lively, interactive experiences throughout downtown.

Visitors will discover surprises in more than 25 participating businesses, as well as on sidewalks, in the street and at Main Street Square. Meet artists, browse their work, listen to music, enjoy refreshments and learn some dance moves at Pop-up Tango.

Pop-up Tango is presented by Gotta Dance, where they will present a full tango less from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and mini lessons and demos of other dance forms throughout the event. The first 50 participants will also be presented with a rose, courtesy of Victoria’s Garden. This month’s pop-up will be located at the corner of Fifth and St. Joseph streets, in the parking lot of DeMersseman Jensen Tellinghuisen & Huffman, LLP.

Art Night Downtown is a collaboration among local organizations and businesses. Primary partners behind Art Night Downtown are the Rapid City Downtown Association and Arts Rapid City. Find out more at www.artnightdowntownrc.com or find us on Facebook.
