Jog For A Dog, a one-mile walk/run, begins at noon. Families and individuals are encouraged to bring their leashed dog on a walk around Downtown Rapid City. Participants may pre-register online. The cost is $10 for individuals 18 years of age and older and $20 for a family, individuals 17 and younger may participate at no charge. Donations will also be accepted. Proceeds will go to the Humane Society of the Black Hills.

“We bring this event to Downtown Rapid City with our own dogs in mind,” said Main Street Square Executive Director Megan Whitman. “We can’t wait to see the dogs that enter the Dog Show. Be sure to bring your four-legged friend down for [FUN]²!”

Various pet-themed booths will be open, featuring National American University Veterinary Technology, Humane Society, T & Bonnie’s Grooming, Oglala Pet Project, MT Pockets Printing, Beautiful Mutts, Ellsworth Air Force Base Veterinary Hospital and more.
