RAPID CITY, SD – Spend time with the family at Eggstravaganza at Main Street Square on Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Don’t miss a puppet show featuring Markie Scholz in “Dragons Are Too Seldom,” partially funded by the South Dakota Arts Council. Scholz will also give a sock puppet creation class for the first 200 children.

The Easter bunny will be on hand, handing out eggs. Children may get their faces painted by the Miss Rapid City Scholarship Foundation participants or hula hoop with Spinchronocity.

Other activities include a petting zoo, inflatable bounce houses and other children activities.

The event is free to attend, and sponsored by Family Thrift Center and Prairie Market. Staff will be on site inviting children to decorate sugar cookies.

“Visit Main Street Square where families can enjoy spring weather and just have fun spending time together,” said Megan Whitman, executive director of Main Street Square. “After the long winter, this event gives families an opportunity to get out of the house and have some [FUN]².”
