RAPID CITY, SD – Celebrate the completion of sculptor Masayuki Nagase's first summer of carving The Sculpture Project: Passage of Wind and Water at Main Street Square, on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The first five completed stones will be exposed. Visitors can meet the artist and hear about his experience working in Rapid City this summer, as well as his plans for the project over the coming months and next year.
Visitors can also learn about other Rapid City projects related to Passage of Wind and Water, including school-based programs and collaborations with local artists.
The event is free and open to the public. Cider and cookies will be served.
