Main Street Square starts the [FUN]² early with the Concert Series Kick-off

Can’t wait for summer? You don’t have to.

Groove Daddy will play on Saturday, May 18, and Pumpin’ Ethyl will perform on Saturday, May 25, in a Concert Series Kick-off at Main Street Square. Each concert will go from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The two performances are an introduction to the Summer Concert Series at Main Street Square, each Thursday from June 6 to Aug. 29, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“We have heard your requests, and are adding a second stage of music on Thursday nights in Downtown Rapid City,” said Main Street Square Executive Director Megan Karbowski. “If you can’t wait until then, come on down, shop, dine and be entertained at the Concert Series Kick-off.”

The Groove Daddy concert is sponsored by The Clock Shop, and the Pumpin’ Ethyl concert is sponsored by Holiday Inn – Rushmore Plaza.

The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Liberty Superstores, with entertainment sponsor Family Thrift Center and Prairie Market. Featured entertainment is Dogs Without Sweaters, Abbey Road, Randy McAllister, Special Consensus, Monrovia, Joe Pug, Vehicle, Places, The Bo Ladner Band, Eric Jerardi Band, The Tinder Box with opening act Avian Sunrise, PowerPlay and one other performance to be announced.
