Winter Market Cancelled Due to Extreme Temperatures

DOWNTOWN RAPID CITY – Winter Market and Santa in the Square at Main Street Square in Downtown Rapid City scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, is cancelled due to extreme temperatures.

The annual Broomball Game featuring the Rapid City Police Department and the Rapid City Fire Department benefiting Toys for Tots has been rescheduled to Saturday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m. The ice skating rink will open at approximately noon, following the broomball game, on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The second event in the series, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14, is still on. The event on Dec. 14 will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with local vendors, ice skating and free horse-drawn carriage rides. Santa will be available from noon to 4 p.m. in the Santa House. A holiday movie will be shown at dusk.
